To make the most of this calendar, log into Google within a browser on a regular computer (not a smart phone or an iPad), scroll down to the bottom of this calendar, and click on the Google Calendar icon with the little plus on it. That will open it up in Google Calendar, and you will be able to add the Hopscotch 2012 calendar to your calendars. Next, open up events you want to attend (this will be easiest if you are exploring using Agenda view), click on More Actions, then click “Copy to Your Calendar.” [“Your Calendar” will be your name.] Once it’s in there, addresses are included. If you have a smartphone, this will be VERY handy. If you don’t, you can still easily make a personalized Hopscotch calendar.

If you’d like to add this calendar as an extra calendar you can view on your iPhone, you can do that (assuming it has already been added in web view). From your iPhone web browser, go to http://m.google.com/sync. You’ll see your iPhone listed there as a device. Click on that. You’ll then see a list of all the calendars you have added in your calendar web view. Check Hopscotch 2012, then click Save at the bottom of the page. When you navigate back to the iPhone calendar app, click on the Calendars button in the top left of the screen, and you should see the Hopscotch calendar listed. Click on it to check it. Click done. You can go back into that any time you want to turn it on or off. If you forget how to do this, know that all these events are over by Sunday, so you won’t be bothered by them ever again! :)
